Today’s post brings another AW15 preview with an updated look at the Pandora Winter 2015 collection! These images are of a higher quality for the most part, and there are also some previously unseen jewellery pieces, which were not included in the North American launch guide. It’s possible that they will not be coming out there. :( I have also listed pricing for the UK, where I have it!

pandora winter 2015 preview

Offering a mixture of some beautiful icy shades and jolly festive reds, this year’s collection is due out on the 29th of October. For some gorgeous live shots, please check out my post here.

Charms & Bracelets

First up, we have a selection of colourful decorative pieces, including three new shades of the Geometric Facets charms. The vivid icy blue shades are really striking, especially in live shots!pandora winter 2015 colour

Prices are as follows:-

Radiant Hearts – $80 USD / $90 CAD / £55

Geometric Facets – $50 USD / $55 CAD / £40

Eternity spacers – $40 USD / $45 CAD / £30

Inspiration Within spacer – $35 USD / $40 CAD / £30

Blue Fascinating Iridescence – $50 USD / $55 CAD / £35

Next up, we have a selection of sparkling stars and snowflakes! In North America, the Radiant Bloom charm will initially only be available as part of a gift set with the Layers of Lace clip and pavé clasp Moments bracelet. It won’t be sold individually until January 2016.

Prices are as follows:-

Crystalised Snowflakes – $70 USD / $80 CAD / £50

Ice Crystal – $75 USD / $85 CAD

Crystalised Snowflake pendant – $65 USD / $75 CAD / £50

Inner Radiance – $400 USD / $440 CAD / £325

Twinkle Twinkle Safety Chain – N/A

Radiant Bloom – £55

I’ll put a big disclaimer on this lovely starry safety chain – I’m not sure which regions it will be coming to. It’s pictured in this North American campaign image for the upcoming Disney collection, so I assume that it’s coming out there. *UPDATED* The safety chain is an Asian Autumn 2015 exclusive, so I assume it was included in this campaign image in error.

pandora disney autumn winter 2015

And there’s a live shot of it as well from a recent AW15 preview in China, so it’s also heading to Asia. I think it is a screw-on safety chain and not a clip, which a couple of people asked me about – in this picture it is sitting on the threads, which clip safety chains don’t. They have to go either side of them.

This next collage is my favourite, as I love the combination of the delicate ribbons, bows and pastels! ^^ My picks from these are the Dainty Bow clip and safety chain, but the new pearlescent Abundance of Love pieces are also gorgeous.

The Abundance of Love charm will be a concept-store exclusive in North America, while the Sweet Sentiments will be a shop-in-shop exclusive; they will be available as usual in other regions.

Next up, we have the usual selection of classic Christmas charms. Of these, I most like the adorable Christmas Puppy, Reindeer and the pretty Holly murano (which is much more of a true red in live images than this stock photo suggests). On the other hand, I’m a little incredulous that they have made three new versions of that present charm, bringing the total up to six! Wow.

In North America, the Prancing Reindeer pendant is a Jared’s exclusive – it will be sold as usual in other regions.

Other Jewellery

There is a small selection of accompanying jewellery for the Winter 2015 collection – much of it wasn’t listed in the North American catalogue. There are some pretty snowflake motifs, alongside some more ribbons and bows!

pandora winter 2015

For the rings, we have a previously-unseen bow ring – the two-tone Petite Bow. I absolutely love the simplicity of its design, and the little bow is kind of adorable. <3 I’ve recently started my Pandora ring collection in earnest, so it will be tempting to add both the Petite Bow and the Delicate Sentiments rings to my Christmas list this year!

Next up, we have a couple of necklaces – this is the Delicate Sentiments necklace, which will come with a 70cm chain.

The Frozen Droplet necklace will be a Jared’s exclusive in North America and is priced at $120 USD. The vibrancy of the pendant looks so beautiful in this stock image!pandora winter 2015 frozen droplet

And finally, my favourite of the necklaces: this rather adorable Starshine chain. I’m not sure which regions this will be coming to.

Finally, we have a selection of sparkling earrings – new for these include a drop version of the Starshine studs and the Delicate Sentiments earrings. The Frosted Droplet earrings will be Jared’s exclusives in the US.

My Comment

This is quite a substantial collection for the winter season compared to previous years, and I’m actually a little more excited for it than I am for the Autumn release this year – which is very unusual for me! It’s true that this collection is sadly lacking in plain silver designs, but I am planning on mixing my new pieces in with some classic Pandora silvers to create a nice mixture of colour. My must-haves are the Dainty Bow clip and safety chain, plus the Puppy, Red-Nosed Reindeer and Holly murano – all of which will be going on my first dedicated Christmas bracelet. :D

I’m also so pleased to see another safety chain design, bringing up the total of new safety chains for AW15 to an amazing three! The pavé star safety chain may not be the most original in concept (it is essentially two Twinkle Twinkle clips with a chain in between them) but it is pretty and will go with any number of different bracelet styles.

What do you think of this collection? Is anything going on your wish list?

  1. I must say that there is a lot of these that will be on my wish list-especially the adorable puppy, the safety chains and the prancing reindeer. The only pieces I’m unsure about are the ‘all wrapped up’ charms-I preferred them not as openworks, and the new christmas tree..I think I liked the old one more..I think I may start up a Christmas Bracelet-I’d definitley be able to complete it!

    • Your picks are very similar to mine! I have to have those safety chains. ^^ And yes, I definitely prefer the older Christmas Tree design to this one as well. I just bought the pavé version on sale when I was on holiday in Amsterdam, and it’s so pretty and twinkly in person. :D

  2. Hi Ellie,
    nice post!
Finally a complete list of what we’re going to see in the next months!
As I said when I first saw this collection there are too many sparkles for me! And nothing is really appealing for me with the exception of the geometric facetes if I need that color in some of my next designs…nothing planned yet!
but….I’m in love with the stars….maybe I should plan a stars themed bracelet!! I love the spacer and the dropping earrings with the stars and the necklace…do you have any idea of the length of that chain? shouldn’t be very long as it’s not for a pendant.
If I don’t mistake it’s the first time we see the bows with the dropping pearl…they are beautiful, both the pendant and the earrings…really well made and add a delicate touch to the sparkling bows! Even though I don’t think they will be on my wishlist…but would be a good idea if you need special accessories for a special occasion.

    Thank you!

    • Hi Sara! Yes this set of star designs are really very pretty. I particularly love the necklace! <3 It doesn't look very 'Pandora' to me, but it is very cute nevertheless. Unfortunately I don't have any details on the length of the chain for that one, but I don't think it will be very long as you wouldn't be able to see all the pretty star detailing. I imagine it will be 45cm.
I also like the pearl bow jewellery pieces, although the ring remains my favourite! They're definitely ones that would look great worn co-ordinated as a set. It's a shame that there isn't an equivalent charm to go with them. I think I will most probably ask for the ring for Christmas ^^
      Thanks for commenting Sara! <3

  3. Hi, we in Europe have been told that the star safety chain, the starshine necklace and the starshine earstuds are Asia exclusives.

    • Why are there so many Asia exclusives in these past few seasons? Complete My Heart, Pear, Ice Cream, and now, this? Starshine necklace is lovely, if only I were a necklace girl. ^^

    • Thank you very much for the heads-up! :) That’s really helpful. I wonder if they just messed up with that Disney campaign image then, haha. I will definitely be trying to get hold of that safety chain – it’s a little annoying that it’s country-exclusive as I’m sure it would be popular everywhere!

  4. Well, the new bangle will be coming home with me. Love Pandora bangles and its a pretty design. I also love the sweet sentiments openworks pink bow charm. Those two are the must haves for me. Thank you for your detailed review.

    • It’s very pretty – definitely one of my favourite LE bracelets that they’ve done yet. I have three bangles already though, haha, so I am going to try and dissuade myself from picking up this one as well. You’re welcome! :)

  5. Hi Ellie

My wish list remains almost unchanged for Winter collection : Blue Fascinating Iridescence, Holly murano, and Dainty Bow clip. Upon seeing more and more Twinkle Twinkle safety chain, it starts to grow on me, so it will be a fight (?) between this and the Dainty Bow chain. ^^

I might be interested in the blue geometric facets. However I am not so sure on which shade of blue that is. I know that the previous blue petite facets compliment Cinderella murano very well. If this new facets charm can go along with Elsa murano, then my wallet is not going to be so pleased. XD

(Oh yeah, and the Bow bangle, I should be getting one. I love bangles!)

Petite Bow!! I would really like to have one. It is two-tone, so this will go nicely with my next bracelet that I intend to add a couple of TT charms on it.

Thanks again for this full preview!

    Kelly x

    • Hi Kelly!

That’s a nice concise wish list, haha. The Holly murano is one of the ones I’m most looking forward to as well! I like to have safety chains for all my bracelets where I can (although I never buy duplicates of them) so I will probably be trying to get hold of both of these. The Twinkle Twinkle chain will look great on my midnight-themed bracelet, whereas the Dainty Bow will add a dash of femininity to my Christmas theme. :D

The new Geometric Facets looks quite a vivid, almost electric blue from the live images we’ve seen so far – the current blue Petite Facets is more powder blue I think. I think it would look rather pretty with the Elsa murano, so perhaps your wallet had better prepare! :P

Yay I’m glad you also like the Petite Bow! :D It’s very simple, but so cute. I may have to add that one to my xmas list this year as well! It would look nice with the plain silver heart stacking ring I just got in the UK ring promo. :D

You’re welcome Kelly – thanks for commenting as ever! x

  6. I am still in love with the Christmas puppy thus I’m sure its coming home with me!
I find the twinkle twinkle safety chain really pretty. Its not the original design but still pretty! I hope it is not a country/area exclusive!

    • Isn’t he cute? ^^ He’s going to be the star of my Christmas bracelet I think!
I agree with you about the safety chain. It may not be original but I think that it’s very cute! There are not many safety chains to choose from at all, so I am puzzled that they would make one of the few new designs we have had in years a country exclusive. :(

  7. Many thanks for all your publication ! It’s such a shame that the abundance of love will be not in Europe… But thanks to you : I was accepted by Pandora’a angels and I’m waiting my first order ! I’m so excited ;)

    • I haven’t heard that the Abundance of Love isn’t in Europe? :o If so that’s a shame! But yay, I’m glad that you’ve been accepted! It’s a great place to pick up country-exclusives and HTF pieces. :D Hope your order comes quickly!

      • Oh sorry I read that “The Abundance of Love charm will be a concept-store exclusive in North America” and I was thinking that it will be not in Europe…
I am a french reader so my mistake ;)
But if I find it here in France it will be great because it’ one of my favorite !
And the white facette and the twinkle twinkle safety chain and the dainty bow safety chain and the dainty bow bangle and the prancing reindeer and the twinkling christmas tree and the reindeer and oh I stop !!! For me I start buying some Pandora only for the christmas charms and now I can not say but you know I am definitely a FAN ! Ah Ah !

        • Oh okay, that’s a relief haha! No worries, there is a lot of information in this post. ^^
Aha, that is a nice long list! :D I want very similar picks to you, this collection is going to kill me a little more than the Autumn release I think. ;)

  8. My faves are the dangle reindeer and the Xmas tree. The Xmas tee is one of those pieces that I believe will be even nicer in person that in photos due to the sparkles and cute detailing effect. I also really enjoy the red present however I do not believe I would ever purchase this one unless I was Doing a red themed bracelet.
Ellie, will you be purchasing the red present to make your Xmas bracelt pop?

    • I like the new Christmas Tree but I think I prefer the older two-tone and pavé versions nevertheless. ^^ I’m sure that you are right and that it will sparkle beautifully in person!
I would have to see the red present in person… I’ve seen shots where I’ve thought that the colour looked beautiful and others where it looks a bit bright. I do love Pandora’s enamel work as a rule though!

  9. My list is still the same the crystallised snowflake charm and radiant embellishment ring from this collection. Though I might change my mind and add others to my list when I finally see them.
I have just seen live shots on pandora Las Vegas Facebook page of the new autumn collection. I’ve seen the three rings I want to get and they look really nice, can’t wait to see them in store. Do we have any idea on prices yet? I might wait to buy the rings, as I’m hoping there’s a free bracelet promotion on next month and will buy them then to get my free bracelets. I will have to go into the shop before then, to see them though and just have to resist if I can.
thanks for the great blog again.

    • Mm, that shade of blue is so striking isn’t it? I particularly like it in the Frozen Droplet necklace.

Yes I saw those lovely live shots too! It’s always exciting and a little frustrating when North American stores start posting live shots early as the UK stores stick to the release date so religiously. I still like the look of the Forest Fairy in particular. :D I also saw a live shot of the new Radiant Hearts on Facebook and it looked surprisingly lovely! I’m actually quite tempted. I do have UK pricing for the Autumn 2015 collection and am planning on publishing them all later this week. :)

You’re welcome – thanks very much for commenting!

  10. Hi Ellie I love both the safety chains I hop the star one comes to the UK, my picks are very similar to yours I also love the red present but at £60 I think is a bit over prized normally that price is when the charm has a little bit of gold. It does look beautiful though.

    • Hi Nicola! Yes, I love the safety chains too and I’m so excited that Pandora are releasing so many this season – I’d be a little gutted to miss out on the starry one, though. I’m even considering getting the Family one from Autumn just because I want more safety chains for my bracelets haha.
The red present is pretty pricey! I find that the price point of a lot of the pavé ones is creeping up – I tend to avoid them and go for something with a little gold instead, as you say.

  11. Just like you, Ellie, I think I am going to start a christmas bracelet this year. The puppy, Holly murano, red-nosed reindeer & the stocking are absolutely adorable. I just started another bracelet where they are all going to be openwork charms, so the crystalized snowflakes is a must buy for me, as well as the shimmering sentiments.
    Have a good day!

    Melanie

    • Hi Melanie! Glad to hear it, I’m really excited to be starting mine! I think I’m going to put the new Holly murano with the existing red faceted murano and the green looking glass, alongside some of these new Christmas charms. :D I wasn’t overly keen on last year’s selection of festive charms, but these are adorable! Your openwork bracelet sounds very pretty too, I’d never thought of doing that kind of design. ^^
Have a good day too and thanks for commenting!
      Ellie

  12. Pandora should be bringing out an Essence safety chain, not more Moment’s safety chains. Women are still losing their Essence bracelets due to faulty clasps. I only use clip safeties anyway. I know they use up valuable bracelet real estate, but by using them I don’t have to buy one for each bracelet, because I never wear all my bracelets at one time, I just move the safeties around. How much will Olaf be? Have we heard yet and I missed the price?

    • Well, both couldn’t hurt! I am very surprised that they haven’t come out with an Essence safety chain, considering all the problems that they have had with the Essence bracelet clasps, although I remain thrilled to see new options for the Moments collection. It seems like it would be a sure best-seller. I haven’t bought any clip safeties yet as I always want the room for more charms, even if they are so much more convenient to take on and off. ^^ I am quite tempted by the two-tone clip safety for a new two-tone bracelet I am thinking of starting though.
Olaf will be $65 USD – prices for the new Disney collection are in the preview here:
      //morapandorablog.com/2015/08/03/pandora-disney-autumnwinter-2015-updated-preview/

    • Some ladies have said that the Thomas Sabo safety chain has worked nicely on their Essence bracelets. I’m considering getting one for mine, as I have heard too many accounts of the Essence clasps coming undone.

      • Yes that’s right! I did write about it absolutely ages ago, and there’s a pic of the Essence bracelet and the TS Karma safety chain together:
        //morapandorablog.com/2014/04/19/update-on-issues-with-pandora-essence-bracelets/

  13. Wow, I love so many of these! I’m in love with the starry safety chain, it’s so sad that it probably won’t be out in the UK. :'( I do like the dainty bow chain though, so I suppose I’ll have to get that instead. I’m glad they’ve released at least one that will be available in the UK, I’m not a huge fan of the ones on offer at the moment.

I wish they’d hurry up and make an essence safety chain, though. I’m really worried I’m going to lose mine. I wonder if they think a safety chain would distract from the simplicity of the bracelet? :(

    • Yes, I know! :( I’m not sure I like this recent trend of Asian exclusives, haha, mainly as they pick some really cute, generic pieces that everyone would like. The Chinese New Year charms I would understand, but funnily enough those always get released worldwide in the end lol. In any case, I think I will be tracking down the starry safety chain one way or another. It’s perfect for my midnight themed bracelet!

It’s funny that you mention that, as that’s my theory as well and I was just about to mention that to Lola, above! That’s the only reason I can think that they wouldn’t do a safety chain, that Pandora like the unfussy, sleek aesthetic of Essence and think that a safety chain is rather too much like the Moments range. If the rumours that the Essence line is on its way out prove to be true (and the fact that it isn’t going to North America does not look good at all) then I imagine we will never get one. :/

      • How are you planning on getting hold of the starry safety chain? If you find a way let me know, because I want one too! ;)

They might be getting rid of Essence?! Noooo! D: My Essence bracelet and Hope bead were the first Pandora things I bought, and I wear my Essence nearly every day because it’s so light and it goes with absolutely everything. Where have these rumours come from? If they get rid of it I think I’m going to have to go on a spending spree before all the beads disappear. :'(

        • I have made a few friends through the blog who tend to help me out with country exclusives, and I also check in with Pandora selling pages on Facebook, as there are often really kind ladies on there who will help out too for no extra cost. :D Pandora’s Tribe and Pandora’s angels are my go-to recommendations!
I know! :( I love my Essence bracelets too! I’ve heard from numerous people who work with Pandora that the future of Essence is very uncertain and that if it doesn’t start performing better then it will most likely be cut. The fact that Pandora in North America, which is a key market, have decided not to go ahead with the newest Essence collection is also super damning. It’s strange as Essence always seems to be doing okay here in the UK but I guess not. Obviously there is no official confirmation on that yet and it’s all just rumour at this point but I will let you know if anything more concrete comes out! :)

      • I just read on Pandora Facebook page another woman whose Essence was lost because of faulty clasp, and she’s asking for a safety chain. Pandora commented that no safety is in “the pipeline.” Pandora’s complete disregard for product quality and customer satisfaction on this line should have women thinking twice before buying Essence. I think this line is finished.

      • I thought Pandora had re-designed the Essence clip so it wouldn’t come undone? If they did and it’s still happening, that’s really not good. It’s a shame to hear that they aren’t even considering making a safety chain, but if the line isn’t doing so well then it wouldn’t make sense for them to invest money in it. :(

        • Yes, they have. I have the new version of the clasp and have had no problems with it so far. It may be that there are still some of the old batch out there (that people haven’t returned or that stores are still selling) although they were meant to be recalled…

      • I think the redesign is also faulty. I’ve read stories from women who had the new clasp and it still failed. It’s not surprising. For Pandora it’s good business because many women will buy a second time, and even a third time. And look at the leather bracelets. They’re horribly made, always breaking at the tips, and when they break, women buy them again. Why make a good product when women will buy a crappy one over and over and over… Lol. Sad, but true.

        • Eugh, what a mess. I have to say I keep buying the leathers but I haven’t had any problem with mine as they never get worn that regularly. I’m pretty careful with them and don’t add too many charms as I know how fragile they are!

  14. Hi Ellie!
Thank you so much for this great, informative and well organised presentation of the Winter Collection! (This is not a compliment, it’s simply the proof why your dissertation will get excellent! I love your writing! ♥)
Well, well! Things are simple for early winter, as I most liked the “Abundance of love” charm and ring! But the Christmas list is dangerously long! I love the Holly murano, the Red present and the Reindeer dangle, so I hope this Christmas, Santa will take into serious consideration I’ve been a good girl the whole year! :-))
It’s a shame that the Twinkle twinkle safety chain won’t be released in Europe; it’s definitely a must-have for me. I can’t think of a better option for my Cinderella-themed bracelet! Your Midnight bracelet will be stunning with it, too, although -in my opinion- the two-tone safety chain with the hearts you have, would add a romantic formality on this gorgeous bracelet! I look forward to seeing your Christmas one!
Thank you for the wonderful preview! ♥♥♥

    • Oh, thank you Chrysa! My dissertation has been a little monster over the last couple of days (writers’ block) so that is really sweet of you! :D Mora Pandora is a nice antidote to writing about the Victorians for a little while every day. ^^
Haha, I’m sure you deserve the things on your list! The Holly murano seems to be on everyone’s list, it’s very pretty. ^^ I am also quite tempted by the Reindeer dangle, but I have the two ornament dangles from last year so it seems like getting a third might be excessive. Even though I think it’s the cutest!
The two-tone hearts one would be gorgeous with the Midnight bracelet but I already have it on my pink and two-tone bracelet and I just love it there. Maybe they can swap from time to time haha! I’m actually going to try and find two gold spacers on sale at some point to add to it (I don’t want to pay full RRP for the gold :S), as I do want to add that little bit of romance and elegance as you say. :D
      Thanks for commenting Chrysa! ♥♥♥

  15. I still like the Holly murano and the gift set, may be the Reindeer dangles. This will be my own simple style bracelet, I will find a pair of matching earring from my own collection. ( I collected 50 pairs real stone earring for the past 20 years ), no need to buy any.

    • The Holly murano is really cute – I am probably going to use it as the centrepiece for my Christmas bracelet! I don’t have any Pandora earrings yet – like you I have enough in my own collection as they used to be the item of jewellery I bought most before I started with Pandora.

  16. Hi Ellie,
The gold Alluring Marquise ring is part of the Autumn collection, at least here in CWE (the Central and Western Europe region)

    • Hi Lisa, oh right, thanks for the update! :) It’s listed as winter 2015 for North America, but they seem to very much be doing their own thing this season. It did seem like more of an autumn piece to me!

  17. So, after almost talking myself out of a Christmas bracelet, I caved, and the Holly Murano is mostly to blame haha! Every photo I see of it, the more I like it. I have one bracelet that I don’t plan on filling so I’ll use that and just put the Christmas charms on that when the season arrives :) I actually found a pre-loved tree of lights through a Facebook group yesterday; I couldn’t justify paying $60 USD for a charm that had a price increase just before it retired, especially when I will only wear it for a couple of months out of the year. So my bracelet will be the Tree of Lights, Santa’s Sleigh w/Garnet, the Holly Murano, the 2013 Black Friday Charm, and the silver Snowman between 2 beveled clips. While some of the newer Christmas charms are cute, I just love the ones from a couple of years ago. The sleigh and Black Friday snowflake were actually lucky finds on Rue La La.

I must say, I also love the whole collection of Crystallized Snowflakes. The coloring is so beautiful, and I love that they used stones that aren’t just your typical pave. I may have to treat myself to the earrings!

Thanks for yet another wonderful post, Ellie! :D

    • Aha I’m glad to hear it! :P I also tried to talk myself out of it, but in the end I was just too excited by all the new Christmas pieces this season. It never usually ends well when I try and talk myself out of some item of Pandora anyway, lol. I have it most planned out and will be designing it around the Holly murano, the green looking glass and the red faceted murano. :D Your bracelet sounds lovely and festive, but also very neat and pretty at the same time. I like that you’ve gone mostly for the Pandora classics, too. :D I’ll definitely be adding some of those to mine, as well.
I also managed to get the Tree of Lights at a nice discount when I was on holiday in the Netherlands, as it had just been discounted to 24 euros! I was very excited although the sales assistant clearly thought I was a bit odd to be buying Christmas jewellery on a lovely summer’s day in Amsterdam haha.
Yes, that blue is just so striking isn’t it? :D I don’t really have any place for it in my bracelet collection but the accompanying jewellery is very tempting. The earrings and the pendant are particularly lovely!

You’re welcome, thanks very much for commenting Kristen! <3

  18. The Starry safety chain is released in Asia for the Autumn collection. I’ve already got mine^^ hope that helps. It is apparently an Asian release for now, but I’m not sure if they’ll release it in USA or Europe. Same as the double starshine releases too. It’s dubbed as Asian release for Autumn as well.

  19. Ill let you know that the Starshine necklace and Starshine earrings (with 2 stars) are both Asia exclusive for the autumn 2015.

  20. Thanks a lot for this amazing review!
I am going to buy Bow safety chain, delicate sentiments bracelet, ring, necklace and earrings-just to have the whole set^^But there’s no information about the necklace’s and earrings’ price! Don’t you know anything about it?

  21. Hi!
Does anyone know anything about the Starshine chain from this review? Is it somewhere in the sale? Thank you for attention!
