Happy news for Pandora fans in the US as shopping site Rue La La will be running a sale on Pandora jewellery tomorrow (Thursday the 24th of September)! The sale offers significant discounts on retired Pandora products, and usually includes charms, jewellery and watches. The last one only ran a month ago, so it’s surprising to see another sale so soon – not that I’m complaining! ;)
The banner for this sale doesn’t look like there is too much that’s new, but if you missed out on anything in the last sale, this might be your second chance! I also spy a little red looking glass murano, which might be nice on any upcoming holiday bracelet designs you have planned, and the retired Fascinating Aventurescent at the front of the image!
The sale is due to start at 11am EDT on Thursday and is listed on the Rue La La site:
The best discounts tend to go quickly, so it’s recommended that you check out with the items you want sooner rather than later. For the uninitiated, Rue La La is a US shopping website, which specialises in offering discounts from designer products. They do, however, now accept international credit cards, if you submit a US billing and shipping address – although it is a bit hit and miss as to whether this works or not.

Wow I was really impressed with the stuff they had this time around, HUGE bummer by the time I got to the site the coral looking glass murano was sold out :(( was thinking it would be a great addition to the Mickey/Minnie bracelet that I want to begin.
I know, I’m also crying (well, not literally :P) over the coral looking glass! I knew I was going to be out and about at the time the sale started, so I found a spot with good mobile internet. Then, just as the clock hit 15.59, one minute to go, my network went down. By the time it came back on fifteen minutes later, the looking glass was gone. So frustrating, haha. It would have been great for your Mickey/Minnie design too! Have you hit ‘still want it’ for it?
On the other hand, I did get the plain silver snake and the golden vintage enamel spacers! :D That’s your bad influence again, haha.
Omg the lil snake that won my heart! <3 oh yea the spacers are lovly, remember they look really good paired next to a two tone bead as the color of the spacet matches the gold nearly perfect! Ha I had a hunch u and I would be head to head going for the looking glass :) no I don't want to use th option because it's available ( although not at a sale price) on a few different sites, so if I decide I must have it I will prob just order from one of the sites then and there.

They’re losing so many customers not accepting a billing address outside the USA!
Hi Jorden, u can put your US shipping address as your billing address :) . Then you will be able to use cards not from U.S. they wrote this somewhere during checkout if I’m not wrong :)
That’s how I have managed to do it, Cindy, although I’ve found it works with some cards and not with others. :)
You can put a US billing address in the box and sometimes that works. Rue sent me a survey the other day on what they could improve, and making shopping easier for international customers was the thing I flagged up most! :)
I tried to pay with my canadian m/c and my american m/c but since both are issued in canada, the rue site wont take it. My credit card accepted the purchase but the rue site wouldnt accept the payment so the payment ( actually double payment) sat on my card for nearly 2 weeks before it finally dropped off. I was charged twice because when i called the company, they tried to manually put it thru but it wouldnt work for them either. I called my credit card and they told me they accepted the purchase and did not decline it. I had an american shipping address and still it absolutely would not go thru. This was the last time, a few weeks ago. This time, i called my cousin who lives in the states and had her make the purchade for me. I mised out on a couple of things because she couldnt ,make the purchase until the night of the sale. I make a lot of purchases from canada and have them ship to the states and there are only a handfull of businesses left with such an outdated system that do not accept international shopping…especially when being shipped within their own country! If i could do the survey…i would tell them to add international billing address option to the payment and second, change their paypal option to accept international paypal accounts! The second i tried to pay with paypal, i received a message that they do not accept payments from my country ( canada).
Eugh, how frustrating! :( Their Paypal system only accepts payments from US accounts, I know that. A reader in the last sale did suggest setting up your own US Paypal account, using a US shipping address, as an alternative – perhaps that could help you out? I do agree that it is often very frustrating for international shoppers and they certainly could do with improving their system a lot more – or at least making it clearer what will and won’t go through in terms of international payments.
I’ve had hit and miss results previously but have found a card that it seems to accept so who knows what the logic behind that is lol.

Those charms really went fast! I was on the site at 1 minute past the hour and by the time I scrolled to the bottom of the page a lot of things were sold out already.

I have the Vintage Allure charm – the whole set is beautiful but, as you say, so expensive! The spinel stones are synthetic, so I’m not quite sure why they are priced so high either. I got my charm when it was half price in the Christmas sales last year :)
Oh lucky you! I was really disappointed to miss out on the coral in this latest sale. I don’t have any of the Pandora wood beads but I can imagine how pretty they would look with the golden enamel spacers. I think I will probably end up wearing mine with a little two-tone!
Jana asked about outlet stores. I’m not sure where she is located but I have a list of stores for the US. They were originally posted on the official Pandora FB page by Signe, one of the page moderators. I have purchased from the Hilton Head store and Potomac Mills store. UPS shipping is a flat rate of $20. Its my understanding that newly retired pieces are 30% off. Then they go to 50% off and 75% off. Recently I was able to get a gold wood bead and rose gold 8 pod ring for 75% off. Even my husband was impressed!

Sounds like they offer some really good deals, too. I have never been to the outlet in Bicester that we have here in the UK, but I don't think they offer discounts quite as amazing as that!

Which charms did you buy? All Pandora will have the hallmarks somewhere, although they can be hard to find.
