Today brings news of an additional mini sale on retired Pandora jewellery running on US discount shopping site Rue La la from today until 11.59PM on Thursday 18 January! This is a bonus sale that’s only accessible to Mora Pandora readers, and you’ll need to follow this link to access the sale.

The sale offers discounts of 60% off on around 80 items of jewellery – there aren’t any new styles included this time around, but it does offer the opportunity to grab something you might have hesitated on previously. :) My favourites from the sale are the Birthday Blooms, the two-tone pieces and the LE Snowflake bangle!

I get asked this question a lot, and so I’ll answer it here to be clear: Rue La La are an authorised US Pandora retailer and only sell the genuine article! So you can buy with confidence – I have been doing so for years. They also now offer international shipping and accept international cards!

Rue La La is a members-only website, but you should be able to sign up via the link I’ve provided here. Comment if you have any problems, but otherwise – happy shopping!

  1. I just bought the rose posts earlier in the week. I thought that was a pretty good price! Now I need the rose ‘light as a feather’ earring charms and bracelet charm to go 65% off and I’ve got a nice little set! Everything else I’m eyeing will have to wait too. Thanks for the opportunity though! Love it!

  2. Last Friday, I finally ordered the two tone clip with the ribbed heart. Just kept on checking if the exchange rate would get lower. I was very lucky to get the envelop written for Santa, and a dangle with the star on clear Crystal for such a good price.

I was hoping to see the light colored sea murano but maybe better luck next time.

    Happy shopping!

  3. Thanks for the heads up, but I’ve basically picked this grouping clean! Nothing for me today.

Hopefully the newly retired items will be available from Rue La La soon…

  4. Thanks for letting us know about the sale. I would like to get the Dreamer safety chain but even though it doesn’t show as sold out it says so when I try to put it in my cart. It was the same during the sale a few days ago.
I have to say I am glad that I read about Rue on your blog. I was nervous at first but I’ve ordered 3 times already and waiting for my 4th set of goodies. I am drawn to older style Pandora they offer.

    • Oh no :( I hope you’ve managed to grab one since? I’m glad that Rue has been useful for other purchases though, I’ve got many a retired bead from there over the years :)

      • No, Ellie, it won’t get me put it in the cart. :( It says “sold out” when I try. I wish they would mark it as sold out on the main page. Maybe it will show up again in the future sales.

  5. I pretty much got all I want that they have in stock. I keep eyeing up the two tone heart charm but with postage and exchange rate, it doesn’t end up a great deal for me. Thanks for the heads up. I am hoping that Rue La la will start adding new, old stock soon.

  6. This is great, Ellie, it’s just too bad international customers can’t justify the expense anymore. The cost has gone up for me. They don’t wait to see which province I’m in before charging tax, so I don’t know what tax rate they’re using, but where duties, taxes, etc., used to be about 4.00, now the combination is 8.00, on top of 18.00 shipping, on a 23.00 charm, I can’t justify the expense. Maybe I could justify it if delivery was fast, say 3 days tops, but at 2 or 3 weeks? Nope.

    • Try changing the province you are in in the drop down menu during check out. It’s set to Ontario but you can change it to BC and it goes down a tiny bit. I wouldn’t not consider placing an order just for one charm either. The shipping kills the deal.

    • Hi Lola,

I understand how you feel. I try to make the best valuable order and to stick to my wish list which is not easy LOL

The shipping cost for my order over 125$US is usually 13.06$ CAN. I live in Ontario so our provincial taxes are 13%. As for duty fees, Borderfree seems to calculate half the tax (approximately) and adds it to the taxes. I have to keep in mind that Rue La La’s prices fluctuate according to the exchange rate. Knowing the item’s regular price at Pandora, making my calculations, considering the chance of availability, it all comes to a gambling game for a Pandora addict. ?

      • My amounts don’t change from beginning to end of the ordering process, they never have, my province has never mattered. And they don’t use the exchange rate that I use in work finance. Lol. No US retailer does; they can’t, it changes far too often.

My overall problem is I don’t want more than one or two things, and I dislike being forced to buy X amount to save on shipping, because that doesn’t save me anything if I’m buying what I don’t want. Maybe if Rue ever got in NEW retired beads, I might buy more at once and reach the spend, but they’ve had the same stock for two years or more. That’s fine for new collectors, not for me. :-)

      • But then you know, there have been times when the website has glitched and I’ve paid no shipping, duties or taxes, so… if only that glitch would happen today. :-)

  7. Thank you for another Rue La La promo. I thought I was done with this grouping, but I ordered the vintage heart. What an awesome deal! Hope Rue La La gets in some more “old” stock. I just trawled the pandora.net e-store, and I’m not liking all the cz I’m seeing. I do have some Pandora cz, and I love the sparkliness of it. But — I want more quality silver charms.

    • Oh yay! The Vintage Heart is another beauty. :) It’s amazing that it’s still around to purchase almost four years after its release!
