*UPDATE* 20/02/14. More pictures added from a preview in Hong Kong. Lots of exciting news is trickling through about the upcoming Spring collection, as Pandora have hosted another Spring 2014 preview for fashion writers in Singapore! I previously posted an article containing live shots from a Spring preview in Vienna; in this preview, there are shots of even more charms, including the Home Sweet Home, My Sweet Pet and more. To see a full run down of all the pieces debuting for Spring 2014, click here! The Spring 2014 collection will be available globally on the 13th of March.
The collection preview here again draws on traditional spring motifs, with beautiful arrangements of flowers decorated throughout the preview. We also get some sneak peeks at Pandora’s marketing materials for Spring 2014, which display delicate pastels in purple and pink. This kind of feminine release really does appeal to me, and I am increasingly excited to see this collection for myself!
In these first two beautifully-clear images, we can see a number of the new hobbies charms debuting for Spring. These images really bring the charms to life much more than the stock images that have been leaked, and I think the Home Sweet Home and Artist’s Palette charms look adorable. However, the Equestrian charm seems really rather big, and I’m not sure that I’m any keener on the new USA charm after seeing a live shot of it.
In these two pictures, we can see the two new LE cord bracelets, which are pretty in pastels. More interestingly for me, however, are the shots of the new charms on them! The cubic zirconia butterfly is a lot prettier, I think, in person; the cubics look more subtle and less gaudy.
I’ve been really keen to see what the new Field of Daisies murano will look like in the flesh, after seeing how pretty the new Butterfly Kisses muranos looked in person. However, it’s hard to tell much from the live images; it looks a little pale and insubstantial to me, but that could well be due to the lighting in the image. You can also see the new Lacewing Butterfly clips and the blue version of the Butterfly Kisses murano.
The rest of the images show various shots of the new charms, including the new butterfly and pavé charms.
Hong Kong Preview
Pandora also hosted a preview in Hong Kong yesterday. There isn’t too much that we haven’t seen before here, but I thought I may as well include them anyway – it’s worth it for the cake pops at least, right?
The new pink Butterfly Kisses murano looks pretty here, alongside some delicious-looking cake pops and some stylish models.
Chinese actress and model Tiffany Tsu models the new Pandora Spring 2014 collection in this pretty image.
And one last shot of the cake pops, for good measure:
It’s great to see live images of charms that were missed from the Vienna preview, and there are some really beautiful pieces. The Home Sweet Home charm looks much prettier in person, and I think this preview serves to remind us of the danger of judging future releases before we’ve seen them for ourselves!
I’m still deeply envious of all these fashion previews in other markets ;) I’d love to be able to go and see them for myself.
What do you think of these new images of the Spring 2014 collection? Are you excited for its debut? Or are you perhaps tired of seeing flowers and butterflies from Pandora? Let me know!
