Today brings a preview of the Pandora Mother’s Day collection for 2014, with some beautiful HQ images and pricing! The collection features lots of pink pastels, flowers and hearts, which is pretty par for the course with Pandora. This is also the time of year when Pandora release a lot of family-themed and celebration-themed charms, and this year is no exception! There are also a couple of new limited edition pieces debuting – these, incidentally, are my favourites of the collection. <3

This collection is due to be released globally on the 10th of April, although part of the collection was released in February in the UK to coincide with our earlier Mother’s Day. For a preview of the accompanying Mother’s Day jewellery, see my post here. Live shots are available if you look through the Mother’s Day 2014 tag!

The Collection

I’ve divided the charms up into easy categories; scroll down to see all the charms that will be released on the 10th of April.

Bangle

The Pandora Circle of Love bangle is a limited edition piece, only available while stocks last. It will cost $75 in the US, while in the UK it is only available as part of a gift set for £99. To see a review of this gorgeous piece, click here!pandora mother's day 2014

Flowers

This Roses openwork charm will be a shop in shop exclusive in the US, costing $25 or £20. I have to say, I’m not sure where the name comes from, as the design looks more like a generic flower than a rose!

The designs of the Rose Garden charm and clip are perfect for Mother’s Day. I did not like these as much in person, but I adore the concept! The charm will be $60 or £35.

The clip will be £45 or $60.

Decorative

There will be three versions of the Cosmic clip debuting; one in clear stones, one in multi-coloured stones and one in purple stones. All will be $65 or £55. This version of the Cosmic clip will be a Jared’s exclusive in the US.

The Shimmering Lace charm represents Pandora’s obligatory new pave charm for this collection. ;) It features a honeycomb pattern, and will cost $55 or £50.

The Sparkling Bow pendant charm is adorable, and will cost $50 or £40.

Finally, in the decorative section, we have a new pink version of the Her Majesty spacer, which will cost $40 or £25.

Love

This charm will be a limited edition piece, available while stocks last – similar to the Bear My Heart charm of 2013. While I liked the Bear My Heart, I think this is a better choice for an LE design – it’s less cute and more appealing to a wide range of collectors. It will be $85 and £65 in the UK.

There will also be a matching Vintage Heart dangle charm, which will be a concept store exclusive in the US. This is slightly less expensive at $65 or £55 – however, it only features gold on one side of the charm.

For gold lovers, there will be an all-gold version of the Vintage Heart, featuring a pearl at its centre. This will be $400 or £320.

The Steady Heart clip represents a new take on the traditional Pandora puffy heart charm, and is priced at $45 or £35.

The new Pink Pavé Heart charm will be $65 or £55 in the UK, and is one of my favourites from the Mother’s Day collection; its soft hue is more of a delicate lilac than pink. It matches the new Mother’s Day Circle of Love bangle in colour.

The Abundance of Love charm (also known as Lots of Love) will be $65 or £55, and features two gold hearts and soft pink enamel.

Family

This Sweet Mother charm will be a Jared’s exclusive in the US, and will retail for $65 or £55.

The It’s a Boy and It’s a Girl charms are somewhat appropriate for Mother’s Day, as they represent a celebration of new mothers and new life! These will be $45 or £35 each.

Special Occasions

The Happy Anniversary represents another two tone option for gold lovers, although it is quite a specifically romantic one – it’s not just a charm that you can go out and buy for yourself! This will be $65 or £65.

The Many Thanks charm suits the idea of Mother’s Day, suggesting the gratitude we feel to our parents! This one will be $40 or £30.

The Happy Birthday cake charm is adorable, with beautiful rose detailing on top – perfect for birthdays and baking enthusiasts! It will be $40 or £30.

There will be both 30 Years of Love and 40 Years of Love dangles, both costing $45 or £35. Fans have questioned whether these represent an anniversary or birthday; I think they could very suitably represent either!

My Comment

My favourites from this collection are undoubtedly the new bangle (see my review here) and the Vintage Heart LE charm. I definitely prefer the more decorative pieces from this one and, happily for me, most of them were already released in the UK; I’m still waiting to see the new birthday cake charm, however. I love birthdays and baking, so hopefully that will be one to add on my next birthday wish list! ;)

Annnyway, what are you most looking forward to? Have any of these charms caught your eye? Let me know!

  1. Hello! I am new to Pandora and I purchased a bracelet for my Mother and myself to get us started. Love all you posts! I have a question on the Steady Heart clip. I have this clip on my bracelet and notice that is moves on the bracelet. It never moves off of the screw but it is not stationary like my much thinner roll of hearts clip that stays snuggly in place. Does the clip move because it is bigger and has empty space inside or is the clip placed incorrectly and actually damaging my bracelet?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Nicole! You are right in thinking that the heart shaped clips have a bit more wiggle room and they don’t stay quite as firmly in place as the smaller, older clips. As they’re heart-shaped, too, you’ll also notice their movement more. :)
