Pandora News Round-Up for May 2014

Today’s blog post takes a look at what’s on the horizon for Pandora in the upcoming month! Things are starting to slow down a little for May – the Spring and Mother’s Day 2014 collections have come and gone, and we (and our pockets) can perhaps breathe a sigh of relief for the time being.  However, we do have the tropical Pandora Summer 2014 collection to look forward to at the end of the month, and a few more promotions to indulge in. ;)

Pandora NFL Collection

The Pandora NFL collection is released in the US today! There are two options available in this range. You can either opt for the Unforgettable Moments pendant, priced at $65 USD, with your team’s logo inscribed on the back:

or, you can opt for the two tone Football Helmet, priced at $160 USD, which has the team logos inscribed on the top of it:

These are, of course, US-exclusive charms, and will not be available in other countries. You can purchase them from either Pandora or NFL themselves.

Alyson Hannigan for Pandora 

I reported some time ago that How I Met Your Mother television star Alyson Hannigan had been signed up to promote Pandora in a Mother’s Day campaign. We now have a lovely shot from Alyson’s campaign: in it, she looks lovely as she models the Shimmering Lace collection, the Cosmic clips and the Sparkle of Love heart.

I particularly like this choice of celebrity sponsorship for Pandora – I hope she does some more campaigns in the future!

Pandora Summer 2014 collection

The biggest news for May has to be the debut of the Summer 2014 collection, which is slated for the 28th of May. The collection features bright, tropical colours, with orange and teal colour schemes. For collection previews and live shots, please see the Summer 2014 tag.

Pandora Essence

We will also probably seeing the debut of the new Pandora Essence Zodiac collection, and possibly the new Essence bead bracelet, with the Summer 2014 collection.

Promotions

There are few promotions for Mother’s Day 2014 that are carrying over from April:

• US Mother’s Day gift sets are available until the 11th of May. These include the Vintage Heart, the Circle of Love bangle and a Mother’s Day starter bracelet set.
• The Australian Circle of Love bangle GWP is also available until the 11th of May. Spend $150 AUD / $180 NZD and receive the Circle of Love limited edition pavé bangle, plus a beautiful butterfly jewellery box:
• In Spain, the Mother’s Day gift set will be available until the 4th of May. This costs  €79 –  t he set comes with limited edition gift packaging, and includes the silver barrel clasp Pandora bracelet and the Mothers of the World charm.

And last, but definitely not least, we finally have something for the UK! We should be getting a great ring promotion at the end of May. This is scheduled to run from the 23rd to the 28th May – Buy two rings, get the third (and cheapest) free! This promotion was very popular last year, and I’m glad to see it is running again this year.

My Comment

The highlight of this month for me has to be the 3 for 2 ring promotion for the UK. It’s a great promotion, and an amazing chance to start or to expand your Pandora ring collection. Whether I’ll be able to participate or not has now been thrown into question by the cruel and sudden death of my laptop, alas… ;)
