Following on from my previews of the Pandora Spring and Summer 2015 releases, today’s post features a full overview of the charms and bracelets coming out with the Pandora Mother’s Day 2015 collection! This release features a lot of love and family-themed offerings, but also some more general decorative pieces, including a girls’ night out set. <3

This collection is due out globally on the 9th of April; however, the UK celebrates Mothering Sunday in March, and consequently can expect to receive at least part of the Mother’s Day 2015 release early. I’ve heard mid-February quoted as a release date for this, but I have not had confirmation on that yet!

Once again, there will be accompanying jewellery with this collection, but I will be previewing this in a separate post! Although I only have prices for the US and Canada, readers should note that this is a worldwide release. All stock images are property of Pandora – please do not reproduce them without credit. :)

Pandora Mother’s Day 2015 Preview

First up, we have a new limited edition bangle for Mothers’ Day, which will retail for $85 USD or $95 CAD! The bangle features a new heart-shaped clasp, with pavé detailing on one side and the Pandora logo on the other. I love the inscription on this bangle, and it would be beautiful stacked plain with other bracelets – but, seeing as I got last year’s LE Mother’s Day bangle, I’ll probably pass on this year’s!

Next, we have a selection of family-themed charms. The Always in my Heart charm will be a limited edition piece. It’s also worth noting that the anticipated locket charm actually has ‘my beautiful wife’ written on one side of it, which might limit its appeal!

There will also be some distribution exclusives for North America; the We Love You card charm will be a shop-in-shop exclusive, while the Centre of my Heart dangle will be a concept store exclusive. The Family Always and Forever two-tone charm will be exclusive to Jared’s in the US, which means it won’t be available in Canada. These limitations apply only to North America; they will be available as normal for the rest of the world.

Finally, this set of charms moves away from the family themes and instead encompasses typically feminine designs, ranging from pink enamel roses to a night out set! In the US, the Sparkling Love Knot is another Jared exclusive – this means it won’t be available in Canada. Once again, this does not affect its availability for the rest of the world, where it will be sold as normal.

My Comment

Although these pieces do feature an abundance of heart motifs once again, I wouldn’t expect Pandora to do anything else for a Mother’s Day collection, and the designs themselves are nicely-executed. I do find the night out charms quite a fun concept, and the pavé styling probably works well for that context – it adds a little bit of edge to a collection that is fairly saturated with hearts and familial pieces. ^^

As I’ve said before, I’m in my early twenties and not a mother, so the majority of these pieces are not really for me – which is perfectly okay as I have a wish list about as long as my arm from the Spring, Disney and Rose collections! However, the two I was considering were the new boy and girl charms. The new designs are adorable (a commenter in a previous post noted how much like little Lego people they look), and I was thinking of popping them on a bracelet as fun representations of me and my OH – if that’s not too twee!

Are you pleased with these new charms? Will you be adding any to your collection?

  1. Family Always and Forever for me! I like it better than the currently available family charm which was on my wishlist. Jareds is coming to my local mall soon
so I can get the new charm. It’s pricey but I really like it.

  2. Your right, the pavé suits the night out dangles well! Just a shame they plaster it on everything else.
The new boy and girl are a lot nicer than the previous ones, I think it’s cute to have them represent you and your other half ?

I like the family infinity style open work charm, I think that is one I would like to buy myself eventually.

    • Yes, I think the pavé detailing is great for those charms – it adds a sense of fun and sparkle that seems appropriate! As you say, people would probably appreciate it more if Pandora didn’t add it to everything haha.
Haha, thanks, glad you think so – I might add them to my new romance bracelet with the pink hearts murano. I prefer them to the originals too, although both were cute!
The two-tone one? I really like that one as well, the gold detailing looks nice and substantial to me. <3

  3. Hello
Your morning posts come in just as I am waking up in Canada – 6:31 a.m. this morning! :) I’m not a mother either so those charms specifically aimed at mothers don’t really appeal. I don’t really mind as this allows to save up for the other collections that have more charms to my liking. I did get the heart bangle last year (I have a very generous cat!). I do like the night out charms and can see those fitting onto one of my bracelets quite nicely. Thank you again for another great post.

    • Hi Janet! I usually schedule them at about 9 or 10 am here in the UK- hope the previews have offered something nice to wake up to ^^ I’m also a little relieved that I don’t want much from this collection, as I suspect that Spring is going to be hard on my finances. ;) The night out charms are a lot of fun, I think; they offer something a bit more edgy amongst all the motherly pieces! I’d possibly be tempted by the cocktail glass or the cute handbag.
      Thanks for commenting Janet! :)

  4. Once again I love your updates. I look forward to them lol. I love so many in this collection. The little boy is a must have since I have 3 sons lol. The always in my heart, Shimmering Rose, Sparkling Love Knot and the handbag are all on my wish list.

    • Yay, I’m very glad to hear that there are so many you like! <3 I like the new boy and girl, too, and the Shimmering Rose and Love Knot are really pretty pavé offerings. I'm looking forward to seeing these in person!

  5. Omigosh! I love the Precious Boy and Precious Girl charms! Can be styled with me and future OH for a lovey dovey bracelet theme yes? LOL!! Please pardon my crazy suggestions :D LOL!! xoxoxo My managers all went out for meeting this morning and they will be back soon! So happy to be able to check out on you here today!! Muahahahahaha! xoxoxo <3 <3 <3

    • Yes aren’t they cute? :D Definitely my favourites of these pieces!
Yes I was very pleased to see your name pop up in my notifications again haha! <3 Hope to see you here again soon xxxxxx

  6. Ops sorry. I didn’t read detail enough. You have suggested earlier too!! LOL!!! No wonder I love you so much. Apologies my bad. I didn’t read detail enough :( Sigh..

  7. I love your idea for getting the boy and girl charms to represent you and your OH! I may have to steal it! ? I too have no children, except for furry and feathered ones, but I do love the locket engraved with “my beautiful wife”. I think my hubby may be buying that for me…he just doesn’t know it yet! ? I have to have the purse as well, then I must be good until the Summer release!!! Give me strength…and money!

    • Aha, thanks, steal away! ;) Lol, the locket is really cute – it’s a shame that the inscription means that I can’t get that one either. On the other hand it’s probably a very good thing that I don’t want too much from this collection, as I will definitely need a few months to recover from the Spring release, haha! Can’t wait for Thursday ^^

  8. I really like the shimmering rose clip and the night out cocktail dangle :) I currently only have one clip (the white darling daisies from the spring 15 collection) but roses are my favourite flower… ahhh it’s all so tempting!

    • Haha, I know the feeling! the Shimmering Rose would look great with the new Darling Daisies clip, you should definitely go for that :) having two clips is good for your bracelet, as well, so there’s that too!

  9. I am so glad I found your blog. It is to-point, informative and I especially love how you included styling shots as well. This is exceptionally helpful to someone like me whom does not quite know how to start. I have been trying to stay off the Pandora bandwagon for about a year as I know it is addictive… but after seeing the Mother’s Day LE bangle 2015, I think I need to own it. Thank you for sharing your passion.
P.S. like you, I prefer few charms on my bracelet and I absolutely adore the Rose collection. Looking forward to your updates.

    • Hi Ariane! Thank you, it’s so great to hear that it’s useful and that you’re enjoying it :D Haha, yes, it is very addictive – I remember when I got my first bracelet, I said that I was only going to fill up the middle section of it. Little did I know! ;)
The new bangle is truly gorgeous – and the nice thing is that it looks wonderful without any charms, too. Definitely a worthy pick :) Thanks again for a really lovely comment Ariane! <3
