It’s not long now until the launch of the Pandora Spring 2016 collections on the 17th of March, and today I have some high quality images of the upcoming Pandora Disney Spring collection for you! With new designs for Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Tangled and more, there’s lot to look forward to in this collection.

We have already seen the entirety of this collection, but some of the pre-release images were very fuzzy – this post offers much clearer and prettier stock images of all the new charms coming out. :D

It’s worth bearing in mind that these charms will be sold both in Pandora concept stores and Disney Parks locations. You should check my other preview to see the Disney exclusive charms coming out with the separate Pandora Disney Parks Spring 2016 collection!

First up, we have the Sleeping Beauty charms, which offer a selection of designs in pastel pink. The details are easier to pick out in the Aurora’s Fairy Godmothers charm – you can see the swirling cloaks, and a face of one of the fairies (which looks a bit evil to me :S). I really like the elegance and neatness of Aurora’s dress, too.

(You can click on any collage to enlarge it!)

Prices for the US are as follows:-

Aurora’s Dress – $65

Aurora’s Fairy Godmothers – $65

Aurora’s Signature Colour – $50

The Tangled charms have one of my favourite designs from this collection – Maximus! :D He’s one of my favourite characters from the film, and I love just about all his scenes haha.

Prices for the US are as follows:-

Rapunzel’s Signature Colour – $50

Rapunzel’s Dress – $65

Maximus – $50

Ariel in a Shell – $65

Next, we have another couple of miscellaneous characters – including a very sweet Honey Pooth Pooh charm. We can also now read the inscription on the green pavé Tinkerbell Star charm – Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust. It’s sweet and I like that it rhymes, but I did quite like one reader’s suggestion of ‘second star to the right’, which has its routes in the original Peter Pan book.pandora disney spring 2016 preview

Prices for the US are as follows:-

Honey Pot Pooh – $55

Tinkerbell Star – $80

Finally, we have three Alice in Wonderland charms. My favourite of these is the White Rabbit, although his bright red-and-yellow detailing might be a little tough to style. Chamilia are also doing an Alice collection this season, with something of a different take. I love the range of their designs, especially the Mad Hatter and pocket watch charms, and hope Pandora will follow their lead and expand their Alice collection!

Finally, we have a new Pandora Disney bracelet, with a CZ Mickey Mouse design! This bracelet is $85 USD. This stock image isn’t the best, but there’s another great shot of it in the campaign image at the beginning of this article.

My Comment

Overall, this is a Pandora Disney release that I’m looking forward to a lot – especially the Tangled charms. The purple Rapunzel Signature Colour murano will hopefully be a really pretty pastel purple, and I love that they made Maximus into a charm – he’s such a quirky, fun character and well-deserving of having his own charm, haha. :D The Sleeping Beauty charms look much nicer in these clearer photos, IMO, and I really like the design of her dress pendant.

However with the Alice charms, I mostly get a sense of wasted potential – the details revealed in the stock images for the Drink Me bottle and the Tea Party dangle don’t particularly appeal, and it’s a shame when compared to the Chamilia collection, which is more adventurous and ambitious, at least.

What do you think of this upcoming Pandora Disney collection? Will you be purchasing anything?

  1. Hi Ellie,

I remain with my first impression, for me Maximus is my must have and I am reserved by the white rabbit.
No matter, my bracelet fairy tale is almost full, and I become difficult to convince…

    Nice day ;)

    • Hi Isabelle! Those two are the ones that have caught my eye as well. I have to have Maximus, who is adorably grumpy, but I would like to see some live photos of the White Rabbit first!

      Have a nice day too!

  2. Hi Ellie
The charms for Disney collection are beautiful. I like the pink murano glass charm rapunzels signature color for my pink bracelet.
When are you going to be reviewing the prices for the spring collection?
I would love to find out how much the floral purple necklace with matching earrings n ring will be. I can’t wait to purchase them.
Have a great day. Looking forward to hearing from you.

    • Hi Laura! I have put the prices up for the Spring charms. I only have prices in euros for the Spring jewellery unfortunately, so I’m not sure on thep rices for the forget me not jewellery set.
I’ll put some kind of alert out if I get more prices :) Have a nice day too and thanks for commenting!

  3. Hi Ellie

  4. I don’t like Chamilia but i have to say that their Alice collection is much nicer. There are so many pretty beautiful charms that could be made of Alice in Wonderland but Pandora got it abit wrong in comparison to the other Disney charms. The rabbit looks like a giant rat in a suit.

I’m not a fan of pave but the little mermaid bracelet in the first stock image is sooo pretty! All the charms work so lovely together. Rapunzal’s dress colours is very nice but i won’t wear it personally because the princess dress charms look like they have been beheaded. All the dress charms remind me of Anne Berlin :)

    • Yeah, it’s funny how much nicer it is. I quite like the White Rabbit, but I don’t like the Tea Party openwork charm much and I think the Drink Me bottle would have been much nicer in a plain silver vintage style. I like enamel detailing usually, but this charm misses the mark for me.

Ahaha, I’d never made the association with the princess dresses and Anne Boleyn. I do find the Snow White dress a little alarming in some photos I’ve seen, mainly as it does look a bit like the arms have been cut off, but the other princess dresses don’t look too corpse-like to me. ;)

  5. Also Ellie, will you be buying some of the Chamilia Alice charms? If so, can you showcase it with your Pandora bracelets and charms. If they look nice on yuor bracelet then I might get some Chamilia Alice charms as well (even though I am not a fan of Chamilia in general. I just like Alice in Wonderland :) Thanks

    • I may well do, I’m quite tempted by the pocket watch especially. You can count on them appearing in a review if I do! :)
Chamilia are a bit hit & miss for me overall, but when I find something I like by them I tend to really like it!

  6. I have to say I respectfully disagree, I love the white rabbit and the detail in the Alice open work charm. I think the design is more intricate than the Chamilia collections!

    • There is a lot of detail in that Alice openwork – I just don’t like what they’ve done with her face, from the stock image. I will have to see a live shot!

  7. Hi Ellie, I was attracted by aurora’s dress and signature colour Murano glass, I Think I will buy them, aurora’s dress Is my favourite princess ‘s dress charm! Like my first impression I don’t like others charms such as Ariel in a shell or Alice’s charms.
Thank you for your news, have a good day!

    • Hi Rosy! I like Aurora’s dress a lot, too. And it’s such an iconic dress as well, it does work well as a charm. Although I’ve always found it a bit strange that the Disney princess merchandise always depicts Aurora’s dress as pink, as I seem to remember it as being blue for most of the film until the end. But it’s been a long time since I’ve seen it so perhaps I’m remembering it wrong.
Anyway! Thanks for commenting, have a nice day as well ^^

  8. I’m still planning to get the Aurora and Rapunzel muranos (great colors for spring). If Alice’s face on the openwork bead looks okay, I’ll get that bead, too. I like Chamilia’s pocket watch dangle. The Ariel bracelet looks really pretty. The detailing of Winnie the Pooh’s mouth is just odd!

    • Good choices! The Disney Signature colour muranos are lovely, regardless of whether you’re a Disney fan or not. ^^ I do find the mouth on Pooh a bit odd, but it may well look better in person!

  9. Hi Ellie, wonderful preview!!!
May i know if it will be released in Australia and Singapore Pandora concept store? My wish list will be mickey moment bracelet, pooh and tinkerbell charm. The rest i will need to see in person…

    • Hi Shirleen! Some of these will be released in Australia and Asia, but not all of them. I don’t think the Sleeping Beauty, Winnie the Pooh or Tinkerbell charms will be.
My understanding is that Asia will receive the bracelet, the Tangled charms, the Ariel charm and the Alice pieces. Australia will receive the Alice in Wonderland charms, the Ariel charm and the bracelet. I could be wrong on that, though, but that’s what I’ve gathered through seeing various pre-release catalogues. :)

  10. POOH! I’ve been hoping for another Pooh charm! Even in the HQ images, the bottom of his face looks a little odd to me, but Pooh has always been my main man, and he’ll definitely be coming home. Here’s hoping for more of the characters down the road. I’d love to see Piglet. And Kanga would be perfect for a Mother’s Day release.

    • Yeah, Pooh does have a bit of a gaping mouth (but all the better to fit more honey in!). But perhaps it’ll look more normal in person! And it’s nice to have a full-bodied Pooh design, anyhow. Piglet and Tigger would be my top picks for more Winnie the Pooh characters, although I’d be happy to see any of the gang really. ^^

  11. I don’t think I will be buying anything from this collection. There isn’t anything standing out to me. If they sold them in the UK, I might buy more from the Disney collection, as I like to see them in person, before I buy.
My list for Spring is long enough, so I don’t need to add anymore to it.

    • Yes, it’s frustrating having to order sight unseen. :( Although I do dread to think how much each charm would cost here in the UK, with our prices plus a Disney licensing fee…

  12. I love the tangled collection, when the other Disney dresses first came out my wish was for a tangled dress and now we have it. I would like to collect all the princess dresses I have the Snow White and Anna dress so far. I can’t wait for this collection and to be able to see it in person in July. Also the bracelet looks even nicer in the bracelet post. I also like the star tinker belle charm.

    • Hehe, having all the princess charms would make for a very colourful bracelet! ^^ I really like the Anna dress myself, and have been tempted by it a few times. If it were easier to get hold of, I’d probably have it by now.
How exciting that you’re going to be able to see it all in person! :D I’d love to be going around the time of a new collection, although I’d probably end up buying it all haha.

  13. Hi Ellie!
I adore it that you make such lovely links lately, such as the video with Maximus (so funny!) or the pictures of Chamilia charms (more creative designers in that brand- the watch and bottle are stunning!).☆☆☆☆☆
I only like the Rapunzel murano, which I’ll get with the kind help of my friend Alex! I’m really excited to see it in person!
It’s relieving I have no other Disney must-haves, as my spring wishlist is sooooo long! :-)
Thank you for the post and all wonderful photos! ♡♡♡

    • Hi Chrysa! Haha, yeah, I got a bit creative with the links in this post. I just feel like you sometimes need a few Disney clips to add a little context.
Yes, Alex told me she was helping you out with that! So exciting! I’m waiting to see a few pictures of the Rapunzel murano, but I’m tempted by that one as well.
      Thanks for commenting! <3 <3

  14. I’m not as into Disney but have a few, I like Maximus and Pooh, not sure if I will get them but these stand out to me out of this collection. I never cared much for the dress dangles but these look well done with good colors.

    • I’m not into Disney for the sake of Disney, but I have seen a lot of the films as a kid, so the charms often tap into nostalgia for me. And the Eeyore charm is still just adorable and one of my favourites ^^ I like the colours of these dresses as well – Aurora’s dress works particularly well I think!

  15. I knew if I waited long enough they would have an Ariel charm that wasn’t just her dress – I was hoping they’d have something similar to the Tinkerbell in a heart charm and I’m super excited to get this Ariel charm because it looks WAY better than the dress. Thank you so much for sharing this info! <3

    • Yes, it is good to have some more options other than the dresses – people seem to be quite divided on whether they like them or not. I hope they do some other similar charms for the other princesses too :D Thanks for commenting!

  16. Thank you for another great preview. I like the Tangled murano but other than that, I think I will give the rest a miss. But that’s ok as my list from the spring and summer is long enough anyways. :) I am interested to see how the colour of this one compares to the faceted purple in SS collection. I may have to get both. :)

    • You’re welcome! I also have a very long wish list from the other collections, so I’m happy not to have too much I want from this selection either. Last year’s Disney Spring collection killed me a little! ;)
The Rapunzel murano looked quite dark in the live shots I saw (I posted them in my news round-up for this month), which was a surprise to me. I’m looking forward to seeing more pictures! :)

  17. Tinkerbell charm and the Disney bracelet are both must buy for me. Not very excited about the rest but the muranos are pretty to add to a bracelet for colour.

    • I’m still waiting for my perfect Disney bracelet! I like the castle on the Disney Parks bracelet, but am not keen on the big Disney Parks branding, seeing as I doubt I will be going any time soon. And I’m not big on the idea of having a whole bracelet dedicated to Mickey/Minnie mouse, which is what I’d be wanting to do with this one. The muranos are lovely, I totally agree!

      • Oh no…. I read somewhere in your comment that no Tinkerbell in Asia and Australia? That means I won’t be able to get it. So sad, but then I can save it up for something else. By the way, Maximus reminds me of the retired rocking horse that I have. Such a nice charm with lots of details.I got it for my daughter’s bracelet as she was born and n year of the horse. It looks prettier than the horse zodiac charm.

        • That’s right, as far as I’m aware no Tinkerbell anywhere outside the US for now. :/ Maximus is such a cute charm – he looks like he might be quite bulky, but it’s got such lovely detailing that I can forgive that!

  18. Hi Ellie,
My problem is that I want them all….I think I’m going to try to get the fairy godmother and tea party ones right away. I like Alice in the bottle a lot as well. I like these Alice charms better than the Chamilia charms, but I really like what they’ve got going with the openwork charms. Maybe in the next release they will do some Peter Pan charms that are more than just Tinkerbell.

    • Hi Stephanie, sorry I totally missed this comment! I would also love to see more Peter Pan charms, a whole set would be amazing. I’d like them to be more fantasy-based, rather than just going for the popular Tinkerbell motifs. :D

  19. Hi Ellie!!! Wonderful pieces!!! Love them. Unfortunately, they don’t come to Brazil. Now, I’m waiting for spring collection!!! But, I’m going to USA this year and then I can choose some Disney charms!!!

    • Hi Carla! No, we don’t have them in the UK either, which is a shame. Not sure why they haven’t come to Brazil, perhaps there are contractual issues there as well. Exciting that you’re going to the US though – I’m very envious! ^^

  20. Hi Ellie
Do you happen to know how much The Forget Me Knot Necklace ring earrings, and pendant might be?
    It’s so pretty
I can’t wait to get it.
    Any info would be helpful!
Thanks and have a great weekend!

  21. Hi Ellie,
I just saw the Epcot flower and garden charm is available on the Disney Store website USD $70.

    • Hi Stephanie! Thanks for the heads-up. :) $70 seems pricey for a plain silver charm, doesn’t it?

      • I know, but I think the flower and garden festival is very popular so they can probably get people to buy it at that price. I like the charm, but I’m going to go for the Alice and princess charms instead this time around. I just read your new post-nice pictures! I think I’m going to get all the Alice charms and put them on my turquoise cord bracelet.

  22. I love the princess murano beads, the colors are breathtaking. I was maybe going to do an all silver theme, nope not anymore. Especially after seeing the Rapunzel bead at my store.
